Place has worked on large Government-led initiatives and programmes all the way through to running pupil conferences, and remains as passionate and as committed to the education agenda as they did when the business began some thirteen years ago.
Schools’ Buying Club was started as a direct result of many client schools not knowing where to turn for specific procurement support and asking Place to do something about it. So they did!
With schools help, support and guidance to ensure that the Club offered something that all schools could benefit from using, the Club now benefits from having over 2000 members and manages in excess of £50m of public funds. The Club estimates that they have saved member schools in excess of £5m during the last 18 months. To say that they’re proud of their members and the money that they are putting directly back into the classroom is an understatement.
