Welcome to Schools’ Buying Club

Education is our passion – so much so we run our own Trust with seven schools. We established Schools’ Buying Club to help schools, academies and MATs save time and money. We believe that every penny that we help you save, means that pupils get a better deal in the classroom. We have saved millions of pounds to date, and its making a real difference when budgets are tight.

Our multi award-winning end-to-end procurement tendering service is focused on letting new contracts across a range of categories including catering, cleaning, ICT managed services, MFDs & managed print, FM & building services, HR & payroll amongst others.

‘When the Kent Catholic Schools’ Partnership faced the daunting task of re-tendering its catering operations across its academies, it could have found no better partner than the Schools’ Buying Club. Steering us through a complex tendering process and helping us to deliver substantial financial savings and an improved service for our Children and Young People. To anyone in a similar position, I would highly recommend the Schools’ Buying Club.’

Mark Harris, Director of Finance & HR

Townley Grammar School is a large Secondary School based in Bexley, London. We employed Schools’ Buying Club to procure Townley Grammar School’s new outsourced ICT Managed Services contract. Schools’ Buying Club managed the process from aiding in the termination of our current contract, through to the award of the new contract. Schools’ Buying Club understand the requirements that our School has and are most efficient at delivering a contract which satisfies our requirements. I would highly recommend working with them.

Gladesmore Community School is a Secondary School based in Haringey, London. We have worked with Schools’ Buying Club on a couple of procurements now and are delighted with the work carried out so far. As a result of a less than satisfactory performance from an incumbent supplier, we employed Schools’ Buying Club to procure our new outsourced ICT Support Services contract. Schools’ Buying Club managed the process from termination of our current contract through to the award of the new contract. Schools’ Buying Club understand the high standards that our School has and are most efficient in delivering well within.

We realised we didn’t have the time or resources to be able to navigate an outsourced catering contract ourselves. SBC guided us through the process from start to finish. They also hold termly review meetings with our schools and supplier to ensure our catering partner is meeting its key performance indicators.

Tim McCarthy, CEO
Aurora Academies Trust

SBC is a very good channel for us and we have secured several new clients through them. I look forward to working with SBC further in the future.
