Schools’ Buying Club has gone regional!
We have listened to feedback direct from our clients and understand that schools and Trusts are looking for regional hands-on support and guidance before, during and after the procurement process. That’s why we have designed a service that focuses on local support with a dedicated regional team, to help save money and create greater efficiencies.
Meet James Vaughan your Client Manager for the East of England.

James answered some questions you might be interested in:
What excites you most about working in the education sector?
Providing savings that can ensure schools are able to put more money back into teaching and education.
What key changes have you seen in the sector over the last few years?
Clusters of local schools or individual schools within Trusts are grouping their procurements together in an aggregated approach to increase their buyer power and control within contracts.
What is the biggest challenge you see your clients face and how do you help them overcome it?
The biggest challenge we see amongst our larger Trust clients is the inconsistencies of service across their schools. We work with them when developing specifications to ensure that the same consistent service is offered to all within the new contract.
In your opinion, what ensures a successful procurement process?
A high-quality service is a direct result of the contract created based on the bid specification. This ensures best value for money.
In an ever-changing environment why are Schools’ Buying Club’s services so important?
In the post COVID world we are currently working in, Schools’ Buying Club offers a fully remote approach ensuring clients receive the same effective service as before, whilst also using technology to offer a more interactive and efficient process.
What is the main benefit of working with Schools’ Buying Club?
Working with category experts who can share their experiences and knowledge within the education sector.
