Welcome to Schools’ Buying Club

Schools’ Buying Club was established to help schools, academies and MATs save time and money through the procurement process. Education is our passion; we run our own Multi-Academy Trust, and know that every penny that we help you save, means that pupils get a better deal in the classroom. We have saved millions of pounds to date, and we know it makes a real difference when budgets are tight.

Our multi award-winning, end-to-end procurement tendering service is focused on letting new contracts across a range of categories including catering, cleaning, ICT managed services, MFDs and managed print, FM and building services, audit, HR and payroll, amongst others. We run the entire procurement process, stimulating interest from the supply market to create competition and keen pricing. We develop the specification, run the tender process through our online portal, evaluate the bids and provide you with our thorough assessment. Our service is compliant and highly effective, providing confidence to school leaders and their governors and trustees.

Message from Claire Delaney, Managing Director of Schools’ Buying Club

Schools’ Buying Club was created to provide schools with exceptional procurement support. In the daily life of a school, it is unrealistic to expect school business professionals to understand not only the minute details of everything that needs to be purchased, but the most effective way of purchasing it.

That’s why we are here for schools and MATs across the country. We run our own Trust, so we service our clients from the perspective of being part of the education sector and not just a company that serves it. This makes us incredibly proud.

We go that little bit further; think that little bit harder

We are helping more and more schools everyday – here’s what our clients have to say:

“The support given by Schools’ Buying Club felt like having an extended procurement team within the trust. The officers were excellent, communicative, always available to provide advice and guidance, informed, and understanding of our context and needs. Schools’ Buying Club has now supported us with cleaning, catering and ICT managed service tenders, and I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to other trusts – excellent service.”
Chiltern Learning Trust
“Thank you for your guidance through such a complex process. We really appreciate the support and savings.”
Bramley Grange Primary School, Rotherham
“The result that Schools’ Buying Club helped us to achieve is very much appreciated. We would not hesitate to recommend their service.”
Coopers School, Chislehurst
“Schools’ Buying Club conducted our recent procurement project in a highly professional manner. The SBC representatives were very knowledgeable, responsive and customer focused. They were a real credit to the organisation.”
Havering Borough Council
“When the Kent Catholic Schools’ Partnership faced the daunting task of re-tendering operations across its academies, it could have found no better partner than the Schools’ Buying Club. Steering us through a complex tendering process and helping us to deliver substantial financial savings and an improved service for our Children and Young People. To anyone in a similar position, I would highly recommend the Schools’ Buying Club.’ ”
Mark Harris, Finance Director
Kent Catholic School Partnership
“Schools’ Buying Club has made a monumental saving for our school and we cannot wait to put the money towards improving the education of our students.”
Lordswood Boy School
“The result has been fantastic. Thank you for enabling us to not only save money…but generate £97k over three years.”
