At Schools’ Buying Club, we are passionate about delivering a service that goes beyond procurement and contract management. We welcomed the Government’s Social Value Act to deliver value to society through public procurement, to promote new jobs and skills, encourage economic growth and prosperity and tackle climate change. Our commitment to investing in social value has led to the following initiatives.

Our commitment to climate change

We will contribute to the value of 0.5% to 1.5% of our income to support local schemes that deliver important social impact, focused on educating young people about sustainability, decarbonisation to meet net zero targets, and how they can deliver change and develop careers in green industries.

Professional Development

One of our values is to support the development of the school business profession; that’s why we will contribute 10% towards the cost of your CIPS Award for School Business Professionals training if you use one of Schools’ Buying Club’s core services. The CIPS award is a procurement and supply learning programme, designed for the education sector in partnership by ISBL and CIPS to incorporate terminology, practices and unique challenges specific to schools.
