Developing a reliable and cost efficient ICT solution will save you time and money in the long term.

Having a reliable and cost efficient ICT provision is imperative for every school, not only because students require access to these resources but because they're integral to running a successful school environment.

Too many of our new members are paying excessive fees for these services but thanks to our procurement professionals, we are able to identify significant savings, which can be made with minimum fuss. To date, we have saved our members around 15% to 20% on these services which include; software, hardware, broadband, telephony, hire of ICT equipment, maintenance of ICT used for teaching and ICT consultancy services.

Check out our ICT case studies for examples of where we've made savings for our members.

Did you know?

  • Develop an ICT vision and strategy - how technology is used to support teaching, learning and management will save your school a significant amount of time and resource when you're ready to go to market.
  • Deciding whether to buy or lease ICT hardware - these two options can involve very different costs and we can help you work through the minefield of operating leases versus a capital purchase.
  • Make sure your supplier is able to provide cost effective maintenance and servicing as it's important to consider the total lifecycle of the contract and supplier relationship.
  • If buying more than just equipment we would set up a service level agreement, stating what is expected from the supplier - this would include targets such as response times and what to do if equipment is proving unreliable or faulty.
  • If no framework contract is available - we can help you collaborate with other regional schools, the Local Authority or another organisation, to create an interesting business proposition for suppliers. The increased volume of business will help you to negotiate better terms and prices.
